About Us
For years, as many of our friends and customers know, making shirts was just something we did for fun - for family, friends, and the Nahas Flooring crew. It was never about business or profit. For Johnny, it became one of his favorite parts of working at Nahas Flooring - a simple way to say thank you and keep our community connected. Life was steady, and I was proud to be part of our family business. Then, everything changed.
On Thanksgiving Day, 2024, Johnny had emergency brain surgery to remove a 2.8 cm tumor from the back of his head. The diagnosis was medulloblastoma, a rare form of brain cancer. What followed was a fight he will never forget. 10 days in ICU, 31 rounds of proton/radiation therapy, and then 4 cycles of chemotherapy, each 3 weeks apart. Johnny finally finished treatment on July 4th, 2025 and after months of treatment I was finally able to celebrate being cancer free.
During that journey, several foundations stepped in to help Johnny and his family when he needed it most. Their kindness gave him the strength to keep going, and it inspired him and those at Nahas Flooring to give back in a way that mattered most. That’s why, for the first time ever, Johnny and the Nahas Flooring company are deciding to sell these iconic shirts - not for business, but for purpose. Every shirt purchased will help fund pediatric brain cancer research, supporting kids and families who are fighting the same battle I did. Funds raised will go directly to the Nahas Flooring company and then distributed to either foundations who support brain cancer patients or directly to pediatric brain cancer research. Every dollar counts.
These shirts aren’t just a tradition anymore - they’re a symbol of resilience, gratitude, and hope. By wearing one, you’re not just supporting a cause - you’re becoming part of something bigger: turning a family tradition into a movement for change.
